Professor Jonathan Sackier is a physician entrepreneur with a diverse background, including clinical practice, academic work, and education. He serves as Chief Medical Officer of AiM Medical and has prior experience in the field, having helped Computer Motion, which built the world’s first surgical robot (AESOP). This eventually merged into Intuitive Surgical to become the largest surgical robotics company in the world, and Sackier also worked on In Touch Medical and other robotics enterprises. Dr. Sackier has also served as a Visiting Professor at Oxford University and as a Professor at George Washington University.
Jonathan graduated in medicine from Liverpool University and completed Fellowships with both the Royal College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He has practiced on both sides of the Atlantic, published extensively, and been honored for his work globally.
